It’s time for a small reform at home and not to spend much but to give it light and a new view, it is possible to paint certain parts to see a big difference.
For this great mission of not spending much but that a change is noticed on this occasion, I will give you some advice which you can use at the moment of painting, to take advantage of the painting and the resources that you have at home.
These are some tricks with paint that you can use.
1. Save on paint
This trick will make you get the most out of your paint can, since by placing a rubber band across it vertically, you will have support where you can drain the excess paint, this will make you only place what is necessary and the excess paint will drain into the can again so you can use it elsewhere. It is recommended that the rubber band you use is plastic because this will not absorb the paint and only make it drain. You must also take into account how tight the rubber band is when you put it in the can; the tighter it is, the easier it will be to use it and take advantage of the paint.
2. Tray coating
If you have ever bought a paint tray and after using it you can’t wash it properly and it stays with paint that is already dry, don’t worry I have the solution so you can reuse your tray just by making a covering of aluminum foil, plastic bag or plastic kitchen roll. This will make cleaning easier, faster and the paint will not stay stuck. Use enough of it, don’t skimp!

3. Wall cover
Usually, a tape that sticks to the wall is used so as not to stain other areas of the wall that are a different color, but this tape is very expensive and is only for one use. That is why it is possible to use a ruler or spatula to protect the two colors, this tool will be placed in the division of these two colors and you will not remove it until you finish painting the area; this will make the paint not to pass and be very clean.
4. Brush guard
The big inconvenience at the time of painting is when the paint drains from the brush to your hand and makes a mess. I have the infallible trick so that your hand does not end up stained. You only need a plastic cap and a cutter to make a cut of the width of the brush, this to introduce half of the brush, where the handle is on one side and the bristles on the other. This will cause that if the paint is drained, it will fall into the plastic lid and not into your hand.
Now that you know some tricks for painting and doing a little remodeling at home, it’s time to put them into practice. Remember to share your experience with me using some of these ideas.
